• Lead project management for mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, integrations, and other major cross-functional projects from early planning through successful execution • Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, workstreams, milestones, and decision logs across multiple concurrent initiatives • Coordinate cross-functional teams across finance, legal, HR, product, engineering, operations, security, leadership, and external partners • Support due diligence by organizing data requests, tracking open items, coordinating stakeholders, and maintaining momentum across workstreams • Drive integration planning and execution, including readiness activities, dependency management, and post-close follow-through • Identify risks, dependencies, blockers, and decision points early and proactively drive resolution strategies • Facilitate executive-level communication, status reporting, governance meetings, and stakeholder alignment • Manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams while maintaining visibility into overall project health • Drive accountability across teams while fostering collaboration, trust, and clarity • Improve internal M&A processes, integration playbooks, and operational best practices • Support teams through changing priorities and evolving business needs • Travel up to 35% as needed based on project requirements
• 8+ years of project/program management experience in M&A, corporate development, consulting, financial services, enterprise technology, operations, or similarly complex environments • Prior experience leading an M&A project • Experience leading or supporting merger, acquisition, integration, or other high-visibility cross-functional initiatives • Ability to operate independently in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities • Ability to build alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders • Strong communication skills, including explaining complex topics clearly and simply to executives, teams, and external partners • Sound judgment and discretion when managing sensitive or confidential initiatives • Experience managing projects involving multiple systems, functions, vendors, and cross-functional dependencies • Highly organized, flexible, and pragmatic approach balancing strategic thinking and hands-on execution • Proactive problem-solving ability • Experience recovering or stabilizing challenged projects/programs or navigating ambiguity during organizational change • Preferred: experience with due diligence coordination, integration planning, and post-close execution • Preferred: experience with change management, process improvement, or operational integration efforts • Preferred: experience in SaaS, software, financial services, or other regulated industries • Preferred: experience managing distributed or remote teams • PMP or related project management certifications welcome but not required
