📋 Description

• Provide production-accounting support and general operations budgets under the direction of the Senior Production Accountant • Partner with Line Producers, Production Managers, and vendors to maintain forecasting, tracking, and reporting of production expenses • Track and categorize invoices and production costs using the Client's production chart of accounts • Provide accurate actuals and forecast updates • Create and distribute cost reports on a timely and regular basis • Identify and flag potential budgetary risks or opportunities • Calculate and update cash flow pacing • Work with Riot’s and the Client’s purchasing teams to set up vendors in purchasing systems, request contracts, and issue invoices • Work with Accounts Payable teams to ensure Purchase Orders are paid in a timely manner • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis • Support Studio Production Management teams • Onboard and direct junior team members • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Finance/Accounting with a heavy emphasis on budgeting, cost tracking, and audit/control functions • Demonstrated ability to create and enforce workflows in a fast-paced, creative environment • Ability to communicate financial compliance requirements and strict deadlines clearly to non-finance stakeholders, including Producers and Creative Leads • High degree of accuracy in data entry and ability to spot discrepancies in large, complex datasets • Strong ability to prioritize, be proactive, and be detail oriented • Experience with Airtable • Proficient in the Google ecosystem, including Drive, Docs, and Sheets • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion • Valid passport required • Studio/live event experience and/or esports experience is a plus • Experience with media budgeting software such as Move Magic, Media Web, and Showbiz, and Coupa • Familiarity with IronClad, Slack, and Notion • Demonstrated interest and experience in emerging technologies, including AI and automation, is a plus • Experience processing payroll and labor laws • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a business-related field • Previous experience onboarding and guiding junior team members
