📋 Description

• Investigate and maintain claims • Review and evaluate coverage and/or liability • Secure and analyze reports, policies, appraisals, releases, statements, records, and other claim-investigation documents • Work toward resolution of claims files • Attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as necessary • Affect settlements/reserves within prescribed limits and submit recommendations on cases exceeding authority • Convey complex coverage, decisions, and outcomes to appropriate parties • Ensure claims payments are issued timely and accurately • Ensure claims handling complies with statutes, regulations, legal requirements, company procedures, and policies • Provide technical advice to lower-level positions and other functional areas • Coach staff and participate in talent selection, development, and performance management decisions • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience • Field of Study: Liberal Arts, Business or a related discipline • Generally, 5 to 10 years of Workers’ Compensation Claims handling experience • Multi-state adjusters licensing is required • Licenses in TX, CT, FL desired • Multi jurisdiction experience preferred, but not required • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship
