📋 Description

• Complete twelve months of investment banking training • Build financial models in Excel on deadlines • Learn discounted cash flow, comparable companies, and precedent transactions valuation • Train in financial statement analysis and accounting fundamentals • Train in portfolio construction and investment strategy • Develop understanding of capital markets • Conduct quantitative analysis and research • Use AI tools and verify their outputs • Pitch investment ideas and defend assumptions • Work with an industry mentor and meet professionals at partner firms • Complete readings, projects, forms, transcripts, and interviews on schedule • Prepare for junior-year internship recruiting and interviews

🎯 Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a freshman (Class of 2030) at an accredited four-year institution • Minimum 3.5 GPA • High school transcript • First semester or first quarter college transcript • Second semester or second quarter transcript when grades post • Twelve-month commitment from summer after freshman year through sophomore year • Approximately 10 hours per week, with heavier weeks around project deadlines • Ability to manage a full course load alongside program commitments • Interest in investment banking • Willingness to complete rigorous technical work • Relevant fields of study include Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, Management, General Business, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, and International Business; undeclared students may also apply • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills • Clear written and verbal communication, including ability to present an investment idea • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy • Ability to form independent judgment from complex information • Collaborative mindset and willingness to defend views professionally • Time management and discipline to meet deadlines • Grit, resourcefulness, intellectual curiosity, excellence, integrity, character, and collaboration
