📋 Description

• Reporting to the SBU Engineering Manager • Responsible for supporting creative engineering solutions • Manage development and execution of several concurrent medium complexity projects • Ensures safety, regulatory, and policy requirements are met • Design and develop basic mechanical layouts • Suggest improvements to existing equipment or processes • Define and draft project technical requirements specification • Develop project related documentation and hand over packages • Develop projects that optimize manufacturing processes • Participates with the internal EH&S resources to identify implement equipment safety standards • Provides technical consultation to plant maintenance groups • Can be sent to a facility with minimal guidance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering required • Project Management experienced or certified • 5-7+ years of Project Engineering in manufacturing environment • Experience with design and analysis of basic power and control circuits • Experience configuring and programming PLC’s • Fundamental knowledge of electrical codes • Good understanding of OSHA, all regulatory compliances and industrial safety practices • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D • Advanced use of Microsoft office tools, MS project, Smartsheet’s • Spanish speaking is a plus.
