📋 Description

• Litigate insurance coverage and extra contractual cases • Handle complex litigation in state and federal court • Manage litigation matters independently • Formulate and implement discovery plans • Take and defend depositions • Evaluate potential insurance liability exposures • Prepare case assessments and evaluations • Manage multiple matters while maintaining high-quality work product • Engage in professional development • Participate in client interactions and hands-on practice work

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience litigating insurance coverage and extra contractual cases • Experience with California first- and third-party property and casualty insurance coverage • Experience with professional liability, UIM/UM coverage, life, health and disability matters, and bad faith litigation • Experience with complex litigation in state and federal court • Licensed to practice in California • Ability to manage own litigation • Ability to formulate and implement discovery plans, including taking and defending depositions • Ability to evaluate potential insurance liability exposures • Ability to prepare case assessments and evaluations • Ability to balance time across several matters while producing consistently good work product • Strong academic credentials • Proven writing, research, and litigation skills • Cover letter, resume, and writing sample required
