📋 Description

• Communicate professionally, productively, and efficiently with clients, contacts, attorneys, other paralegals, and professional staff • Assist attorneys in drafting pleadings, conducting factual and legal research, reviewing and analyzing documents, and preparing for hearings, depositions, and mediations • Review, gather, and organize client documents from production through discovery • Research, organize, and summarize records to assist in data gathering • Organize information and documents in databases • Assist with preparing discovery requests and responses • Assist in trial preparation, including drafting pre-trial pleadings, preparing exhibits, coordinating witnesses and requests with outside vendors, and providing live trial support • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working as a litigation-focused paralegal • Experience in litigation support and case management • Experience in personal injury litigation is preferred • Ability to manage multiple cases and adapt to changes in the work environment • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team • Experience drafting and organizing written discovery and document production • Experience preparing for and assisting at trial • Familiarity with California State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedures • Experience with Summation Pro, Relativity, or comparable litigation support software • Excellent analytical and written communication skills • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and technical skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Prior California litigation experience • Significant primary experience in personal injury and construction/construction defect litigation • Cover letter and resume required
