📋 Description

• Perform scheduled diabetic eye exams and retinal screenings for members at provider practices and patient homes • Operate company-provided retinal imaging equipment • Complete company-provided training on retinal imaging equipment and eye exam procedures before conducting exams independently • Maintain competency through ongoing training as needed • Manage a daily eye exam appointment schedule • Confirm appointments with practices and patients in advance • Coordinate travel logistics • Support closure of eye exam and related quality gaps • Engage virtually with team members, internal partners, customers, providers, payers, and care teams on non-appointment days • Build and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers, customers, providers, payers, and care teams • Support quality improvement, reporting, patient outreach, and customer success • Follow security policies and procedures to protect PHI, PII, and Guidehealth intellectual property

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside locally in the Philadelphia, PA area • Willingness and ability to travel daily, up to 100%, to provider practices • No prior eye exam or imaging experience required; full training and equipment provided • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Associate degree or greater in a related field • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a healthcare setting • Knowledge of medical terminology, quality measures, medical billing, or coding • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and multiple healthcare-related systems or applications • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to meet hard deadlines • Ability to collaborate effectively with management, co-workers, customers, providers, payers, and care teams • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Certified or licensed healthcare professional credential, such as CMA or LPN is preferred • Internet connection capable of video calls and internal/external systems: minimum 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
