📋 Description

• Assist in delivery and management of engagement activities led by Guidehouse Engagement Leadership • Work independently with minimal supervision and build relationships across the engagement team • Lead tasks or workstreams within client engagements and oversee engagement staff contributions • Guide client and subject matter expert conversations toward effective outcomes • Identify and mitigate risks related to scope, schedule, and quality, escalating to engagement leadership • Develop strategies to solve complex clinical, technical, and operational challenges for healthcare clients • Support business development activities and pursue opportunities for new or existing clients • Contribute to industry acumen, capabilities, and internal firm initiatives • Perform technical and process analyses, data collection, and spreadsheet creation and management • Conduct fact finding, research, and analysis to recommend enhancements to client operations • Assess health industry trends and leading practices • Develop transformation strategies for clients’ long-range strategic planning, integration, growth, and standardization • Communicate solutions and strategies through reports and presentations • Support client management, solution implementation, and results generation • Participate in operational meetings with clients and consulting leaders • Prepare and communicate reports and presentations to client and internal executives • Mentor junior consultants • Interact with senior Guidehouse staff

🎯 Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust • Bachelor’s degree • Three (3) or more years of professional experience in the provider healthcare industry • Experience ideally in management consulting focused on healthcare planning of facilities or service lines based on market research • Thorough understanding of the provider industry • Organizational and project management skills • Experience maintaining project timelines and contributing to project reporting • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of business • Experience writing reports and client/public-facing documents • Experience communicating complex concepts effectively through Microsoft PowerPoint • Comfort with quantitative analysis in Microsoft Excel • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities • Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs • Consulting experience with the federal government and commercial clients • Travel required up to 10%
