📋 Description

• Serve as a strategic liaison between Procurement and Legal teams • Drive development, negotiation, and management of Master Service Agreements • Review contracts, addenda, amendments, and procurement documents • Negotiate supplier contract terms and conditions • Guide Sourcing teams in drafting MSAs, SOWs, ordering documents, and other contracts • Facilitate initial negotiations between GuideWell and suppliers • Draft, edit, and negotiate master service agreements • Provide guidance on contracting strategy, contract development, and negotiation • Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks in procurement transactions • Monitor changes in procurement-related laws and regulatory environments • Coordinate with Legal and Government & Legislative Affairs on legislation affecting procurement • Develop and deliver procurement training on regulatory considerations, negotiations, and policies • Support resolution of contractual disputes with vendors • Monitor contract review timeliness and quality, negotiation effectiveness, optimization efforts, and compliance

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years related work experience • Experience in procurement, contract management, or a legal-related role • Successful redlining contract experience in moderate-to-high complexity contracts • Experience with contracts related to Technology, Software, SaaS, Professional Services, Consulting, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Health Services, Care Management, Clinical Services, or Medical Supplies & Equipment • Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience • Strong understanding of procurement regulations, contract law, and negotiation principles • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills • Solid contract drafting and terminology knowledge • Understanding of risk-based language, contracting traps and pitfalls, document management and control • Legal acuity necessary to negotiate mid-complexity contracts • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency in contract management software, procurement tools, and office suite software including Outlook, Word, and Excel • Ability to travel to multiple locations for meetings, events, and conferences
