📋 Description

• Lead customer installations end to end, both on-site and remotely, according to the implementation schedule • Assess electrical panel safety and coordinate with the customer's electrician when required • Install, wire, and configure monitoring hardware to Guidewheel standards and agreed scope • Establish and validate site connectivity and confirm data flows to the platform • Capture machine nameplate data, asset IDs, and photographs • Guide customer teams through remote installations and verify quality • Photograph every sensor and submit installation reports within 24 hours of site closeout • Provide written punch lists to the Technical Account Manager before leaving sites • Log time on site for future implementation planning • Assemble and stage hardware kits, including firmware updates, labeling, and quality checks • Run inventory audits and reconcile physical counts with system records • Troubleshoot hardware remotely with the TAM after implementation • Return to sites for replacement hardware, multi-phase installations, and scope additions • Improve the implementation playbook and site-readiness checklists • Complete onboarding milestones including safety training, certification, implementation shadowing, and field-kit QA • Lead solo and multi-site implementations, support onboarding of the next Field Engineer, and propose cycle-time improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Electrical, industrial installation, controls, or related skilled-trade experience • Comfort working in and around three-phase panels • Working knowledge of electrical safety fundamentals, including lockout/tagout • Fluency with a multimeter, clamp meter, drill, torque tools, and label printer • Willingness to travel up to 75% • Clear photography and accurate documentation skills • Comfort creating machines, mapping sensors, and updating installation status using software • Ability to coordinate through standard collaboration tools • Customer-facing communication skills • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Power metering or submetering experience is nice to have • Industrial networking experience with cellular gateways and VLANs is nice to have • Manufacturing plant experience is nice to have • Experience training or mentoring technicians is nice to have • A second language, especially Spanish, is nice to have • PLC knowledge and implementation/troubleshooting experience is nice to have
