📋 Description

• Provide management and leadership to a tree crew while performing assigned jobs • Communicate with the General Foreman daily regarding all aspects of the job • Perform all skills required of tree trimmers with a safety-first mindset • Understand and manage the assigned job • Maintain equipment inspection paperwork • Inspect and maintain equipment • Complete daily paperwork and reports • Complete timesheets accurately and on time • Identify job hazards, job briefings, and drop zones • Identify tree assignments and initiate drop zones • Evaluate proper mechanical or manual methods for tree assignments • Perform other assigned tasks and responsibilities • Travel to other work areas as required

🎯 Requirements

• Valid, clear driver's license required • CDL A or B required • Must be authorized to work in the United States • Proven experience as a trimmer/climber and bucket operator, often 2+ years • OSHA, Aerial Rescue, and First Aid/CPR training • Leadership, crew coordination, training, equipment inspection, daily reporting, and problem-solving skills • Tree identification, hand/power tool operation, climbing/trimming techniques, and equipment maintenance • Ability to perform strenuous tasks and repetitive work • Ability to push/pull brush or wood in excess of 100 lbs • Ability to work in various weather conditions • Ability to use personal protective gear daily • Completion of safety videos, First Aid and CPR Training Programs, Aerial Rescue Training Program, and Trimmer Standards • Developed climbing skills generally within 24+ months • Bilingual is a plus
