📋 Description

• Assist certified clinicians in delivering patient care services under direct supervision • Prepare treatment rooms and patients for clinical procedures • Perform technical fabrication tasks, including making and modifying molds • Execute treatment modifications, adjustments, and repairs as directed by the supervising clinician • Fit and provide soft goods items to patients • Provide alterations and adjustments to soft goods items as needed • Provide orthotics fitting services independently • Assist with selected patient follow-up care under clinician direction • Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient care provided • Communicate patient information and care outcomes to the supervising clinician • Ensure all patient procedures comply with clinical protocols and standards • Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory monitoring of prosthetic and orthotic materials • Contact and coordinate with vendors to order necessary materials and supplies • Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment • Adhere to safety regulations, Medicare and governmental regulations, blood-borne requirements, and OSHA requirements

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required • 1 year of experience in a customer service or patient facing role • Preference for allied health professionals, such as PTA, OTA, or Athletic Trainer • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and a driving record meeting Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures • Willingness to verify all clinical activities with certified clinical personnel • Ability to follow written and verbal directions • Hand skills necessary to use laboratory tools safely and effectively • Knowledge of biomechanical principles • Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for reporting information to patients and staff • Effective organizational skills and ability to prioritize and plan to meet deadlines • Ability to work effectively as a team member • Act with integrity in all ways and at all times • Keep the patient at the center of everything that you do • Foster open collaboration and constructive dialogue • Continuously innovate new solutions and respond to change • Focus on superior outcomes and outstanding results
