📋 Description
• Coordinate with Regional Chief Instructors to deliver instruction in support of the CSCDEP curriculum. • Facilitate graduate-level seminar discussions using Socratic teaching methods and adult learning principles. • Lead seminar cohorts consisting of approximately 12 –16 students. • Mentor students and provide academic and professional guidance throughout the program. • Grade seminar participation, written assignments, research papers, and other course requirements in accordance with program standards. • Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student development and learning objectives. • Foster a professional learning environment that promotes critical thinking, analysis, and intellectual discourse. • Maintain accurate grading records, course documentation, and student performance data. • Participate in faculty meetings, training events, and professional development activities as required. • Successfully complete all required CDET faculty development and certification requirements. • Ensure compliance with Marine Corps University academic standards and contractual requirements.
🎯 Requirements
• Field Grade Officer (Major, Lieutenant Commander, equivalent grade, or higher) or civilian graduate of Intermediate Level School (ILS), Staff Academy Workshop (SAW), Tactical Level School (TLS), or equivalent professional military education program. • Demonstrated ability to facilitate graduate-level discussions and mentor adult learners. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and effectively in a distributed learning environment.
