📋 Description

• Conduct provider recruitment and contracting activities for small, mid-size, and large physicians, physician groups, and facilities • Develop and negotiate contracts • Develop and maintain relationships with providers • Ensure strategic coverage for the assigned territory • Educate providers and provide ongoing provider service • Contract with or support large or complex groups and facilities as needed • Travel within assigned areas of responsibility, including overnight stays

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor Degree and 3 years provider contracting experience OR 7 years business experience including 3 years provider contracting experience • Knowledge of provider and facility contracting, products, and claims/processing systems • Negotiation skills • Relationship building skills • Knowledge of marketplace • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure • Verbal and written communication skills • Organizational and planning skills • PC proficiency including Microsoft Office • Analytical skills • Ability and willingness to travel within assigned areas of responsibility, including overnight stays • Sponsorship will not be provided for this role • Preferred: 3 years experience in Medicare Advantage Contracting • Preferred: 1 year experience in Value Based Contracting (negotiation, execution, management of Delegation/Risk Contracts) • Preferred: 1 year experience in Ancillary contracting
