📋 Description

• Contribute to annual sales and profitability targets through inventory audits, replenishment, and customer training for inventory management programs • Perform project management and coordination on inventory projects between internal and external customers • Drive business growth within the territory with new and existing customers • Serve as point of contact for inventory-managed solutions • Perform inventory audits, source and order products, and project manage new inventory solutions • Manage and facilitate inventory disposition at customer sites • Reduce exposure to excess stock, dead stock, and discontinued items • Audit and replenish inventory to maintain stock levels • Resolve customer issues related to inventory adjustments and discrepancies • Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures • Assist with implementation and setup of new inventory-managed solutions at customer sites • Design inventory solutions, receive product, and stock and label finished goods • Work with cross-functional sales teams as the subject matter expert for inventory solutions tasks • Train new hires, vendors, customers, and other functional areas • Present to customers and leadership on market conditions and concerns • Resolve missing or incomplete information and inconsistencies or anomalies in complex research/data • Provide general guidance or training to junior-level support or professional personnel

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with inventory management, cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock reconciliation • Background in retail, distribution center (DC), warehouse, or supply chain operations • Strong project coordination and customer-facing experience • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently in a field-based role, managing multiple priorities and customer sites • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to conduct inventory counts, audits, and customer visits • BS/BA in a related discipline, or MS/MA with related experience • Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field with BS/BA, or generally 2-4 years with MS/MA • Certification is required in some areas • Ability to regularly travel via personal vehicle within assigned area • Ability to perform walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment weighing 50+ pounds
