📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, document, and maintain Amazon QuickSight analyses, datasets, reports, and multi-level dashboards in the secure CMS environment • Translate business and contract requirements into clear, accurate, and actionable dashboard experiences for QIO stakeholders • Elicit, document, and refine dashboard requirements with HSAG staff, CMS stakeholders, and customers • Develop QuickSight dashboard navigation, drill-downs, filters, parameters, calculations, and role-appropriate views • Apply data validation and quality-control procedures to dashboard measures, calculations, labels, and visualizations • Maintain dashboard version documentation and support controlled promotion of dashboard changes • Create and maintain Tableau dashboards or visualizations for other HSAG work • Design proof-of-concept solutions and advanced BI visualizations • Validate dashboard measures, investigate data issues, and support ad hoc analysis • Design, develop, and automate end-to-end ETL solutions using dynamic SQL • Implement complex SQL business rules and SQL-based data-quality validation frameworks • Author technical documentation, including dashboard documentation, data definitions, data mappings, ETL workflow diagrams, user guidance, and presentations • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for dashboards, data, access, functionality, database design, and dissemination activities • Oversee technical User Acceptance Testing, document findings, resolve defects, and support production readiness • Manage the full dashboard and data project lifecycle to meet schedules, QIO contract requirements, security expectations, and milestones • Collaborate with HSAG departments to troubleshoot project activities and support complex customer research issues • Stay current on QuickSight, database, ETL, and analytics developments and communicate relevant advancements • Communicate technical and analytic topics through documentation, demonstrations, and presentations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a quantitative discipline • At least 3 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining visualization solutions in Amazon QuickSight • Practical Amazon QuickSight expertise, including analyses, dashboards, calculated fields, filters, parameters, and interactive visualizations • Familiarity with Tableau dashboard development • At least 3 years of experience with ETL processes in a Microsoft SQL Server environment • At least 3 years of data warehousing experience • Experience gathering and refining requirements and interviewing business users to understand and document data requirements • Strong attention to detail and experience documenting business and technical requirements based on user interviews • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to handle several projects simultaneously and work with multiple teams • Successful completion of required CMS vetting, identity verification, background investigation, security, privacy, and access-authorization processes • Ability to maintain eligibility for CMS system access and complete required security and privacy training • Compliance with CMS and HSAG policies for handling sensitive information • Master’s degree preferred • Hands-on Tableau development experience preferred • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI, and Databricks preferred • Experience with healthcare, Medicare, claims, quality improvement, or other regulated data strongly preferred
