📋 Description

• Review video briefs, scripts, or footage to identify the strongest truthful hook • Develop distinct thumbnail concepts based on audience motivations and actual video content • Pair thumbnails with titles to build curiosity without repeating the same words • Explain creative choices in terms of viewer psychology and intended click • Flag weak or unclear packaging and propose stronger directions • Identify the strongest source of tension in each video • Create title-thumbnail combinations that make tension clear without resolving the question before the click • Create thumbnails with clear focal points, strong visual hierarchy, and immediate mobile readability • Select facial expressions, imagery, and text that support the concept • Make clients look natural, credible, and recognizable • Remove unnecessary elements that compete for attention • Produce meaningful variations testing different ideas • Use AI image generation and editing tools to create, composite, and refine visual assets • Direct and iterate AI outputs; correct likeness, expressions, anatomy, lighting, and other artifacts • Combine AI with manual editing when needed • Evaluate and adopt tools that improve quality or speed • Review thumbnail and video performance with the content team • Interpret CTR alongside traffic source, impressions, audience, and viewing behavior • Recommend tests or replacements based on evidence • Track tests, results, and lessons for future work • Study relevant channels and breakout videos for useful patterns • Meet production deadlines and maintain organized source files and versions • Collaborate with scriptwriters, editors, and account managers • Apply feedback consistently to prevent recurring issues

🎯 Requirements

• Deep YouTube fluency; actively watch and study YouTube, including specific channels, thumbnail approaches, title pairings, and breakout videos • Demonstrated track record creating thumbnails for published YouTube videos, with contextual portfolio examples • Ability to explain personal contribution, creative reasoning, baseline, performance results, and other changes affecting claimed improvements • Understanding of audience psychology, curiosity, emotional relevance, and tension • Ability to create compelling unresolved questions without vague teasers, exaggerated claims, or manufactured drama • Excellent visual taste and judgment regarding faces, expressions, composition, contrast, typography, and realism • Ability to identify and fix awkward, cluttered, generic, or untrustworthy designs • Practical AI fluency; already use AI image tools and can direct, refine, and finish outputs • Ability to develop ideas, make decisions, meet deadlines, and incorporate feedback without requiring detailed art direction
