📋 Description

• Maintain the distinctive Runner's World voice and editorial standards throughout assigned manuscripts. • Implement developmental edits and precise line edits to strengthen clarity, structure, and reader engagement. • Review copy edits, respond to editorial queries, and resolve inconsistencies to ensure high-quality final manuscripts. • Collaborate with editors and stakeholders to deliver polished content aligned with editorial goals and brand standards. • Manage multiple manuscripts, editorial review rounds, competing priorities, and deadlines. • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across assigned editorial projects. • Contribute creative ideas to elevate content quality and enhance the reader experience. • Provide project-based editorial support from initial content development through final production. • Develop and refine content plans, write and edit copy, and collaborate with editorial, design, production, and other cross-functional teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of editorial experience in book publishing, magazines, digital media, or a related content environment, or equivalent experience. • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Experience performing developmental editing and line editing on long-form content. • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. • Creative thinker who brings fresh, innovative ideas while maintaining an established editorial voice. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. • Ability to work remotely for 20 hours per week. • Bachelor's degree.
