📋 Description

• Lead business process workshops to gather requirements and define Material Master governance processes • Design and configure SAP MDG-M data models, governance workflows, and user interfaces • Configure SAP MDG Data Modeling, UI Modeling (FPM), and Process Modeling components • Configure Change Request workflows and approvals for Material Master lifecycle management • Develop validation, derivation, and business rules using SAP BRF+ • Define and implement Material Master governance policies, standards, and stewardship processes • Configure Data Replication Framework (DRF) for master data distribution across integrated SAP environments • Support integrations using IDocs, SOA Services, and Web Services • Collaborate with SAP MM, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and technical teams • Prepare configuration documentation, functional specifications, and solution design documentation • Execute unit and integration testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Troubleshoot production issues and provide post-go-live support • Participate in release planning, transports, and deployment activities • Recommend improvements to data governance processes and master data quality • Travel rarely to client sites to provide on-site support • Participate in quality assurance activities and protect sensitive information in accordance with security policies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • 5+ years of SAP MDG Material Master (MDG-M) experience; 5–7 years without a Bachelor’s degree • Experience configuring SAP MDG data models, workflows, and governance processes • Strong understanding of SAP Material Master and SAP MM functionality • Experience with BRF+ business rule configuration • Experience configuring Data Replication Framework (DRF) • Experience supporting SAP integrations using IDocs and Web Services • Experience throughout the full SAP implementation lifecycle • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one • SAP S/4HANA implementation experience preferred • Experience supporting Navy or other DoD SAP environments preferred • Experience with federal supply chain or logistics modernization programs preferred • Familiarity with DoD master data governance policies preferred • SAP MDG certification preferred
