📋 Description

• Coach students in one-on-one sessions through academic challenges • Mentor students and support confidence and motivation alongside academic growth • Meet with students and families to help students gain academic and executive functioning skills • Instill durable study habits and executive functioning skills, including time management, self-directed practice, and reflection • Communicate with students in a timely manner • Attend biweekly internal meetings with teammates and supervisor • Document all student interactions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's (Required) • Strong command of the standardized testing process (ACT/SAT) • Experience helping students succeed on the ACT and SAT • Strong command of high school Humanities (English, Social Studies, Social Science) • Familiarity/experience with AP and/or IB coursework • Experience building structure and accountability habits with students—not just delivering content • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience working with high school- or college-aged students • Self-direction and ability to meet strict deadlines in a remote work environment • Familiarity with Google Docs • Ability to work 10–20 hours per week • Ability to work at least three weekday evenings and one weekend day per week, mostly between 3pm–10pm CST or on weekends • Ability to provide remote work equipment, including a laptop with reliable internet access, an iPad or similar device with which to write on screen, and a professional video background
