• Translate demand plans, available production hours, manufacturing capabilities, line constraints, and production requirements into an integrated supply and capacity plan • Develop and maintain capacity plans by manufacturing work group, production line, and other relevant manufacturing constraints • Identify and resolve capacity and supply imbalances • Develop scenarios and recommendations to address capacity constraints • Partner with Production Planning to determine what should be produced, when, and in what quantities • Maintain forward visibility into capacity requirements and communicate emerging constraints to Operations and leadership • Own inventory planning across raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-process, and finished goods • Establish and maintain SKU-level minimum and maximum inventory targets • Develop and monitor weekly, monthly, and annual inventory plans • Identify risks related to shortages, excess, aging, slow-moving, or obsolete inventory • Develop strategies to reduce inventory while protecting customer service and manufacturing requirements • Manage inventory working capital • Partner with Demand Planning, Production Planning, and Operations to drive inventory accuracy and adherence to inventory plans • Align production schedules with inventory requirements, customer service objectives, available capacity, and efficient production runs • Identify root causes of inventory deviations and establish corrective actions • Provide leadership with visibility into inventory risks, capacity constraints, and supply-demand imbalances • Own the weekly, monthly, and annual Supply, Capacity & Inventory Planning cycle • Establish planning processes, operating rhythms, KPIs, and accountability mechanisms • Lead regular planning reviews • Develop what-if scenarios • Continuously improve planning processes, systems, data quality, and analytical capabilities • Maintain planning assumptions, constraints, and inventory targets in planning and ERP systems • Utilize and improve supply and inventory planning models • Translate model outputs into actionable supply and inventory decisions
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, supply planning, inventory planning, or manufacturing planning • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and capacity constraints • Demonstrated experience with inventory planning and working-capital management • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to translate complex demand, capacity, and inventory information into clear, actionable decisions • Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP and/or planning systems • Experience with S&OP/IBP processes preferred • Strong cross-functional communication and influencing skills • Ability to challenge assumptions and drive accountability across cross-functional partners • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities
