📋 Description

• Increase awareness and use of Neogard products among architects and specifiers • Serve as the technical sales expert for roofing, flooring and waterproofing influencers • Collaborate with Neogard Segment Managers, Account Managers and the National Architectural Specialists Manager • Identify and engage key strategic end users • Maximize long-term specification acceptance in the assigned territory • Develop relationships with key architects and specifiers • Prepare and update project specifications for the A/E/C industry • Participate in writing new master specifications for the firm's library • Coordinate master specification divisions knowledge base as part of the team • Develop and manage a qualified pipeline of large strategic opportunities • Establish focused plans to follow projects through the pipeline and hand them off to the sales team for closure • Travel overnight 50-60%

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in California, Washington or Oregon • High-performance coatings knowledge preferred • BS in Construction Management or Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Civil), prior experience as an A/E representative with coatings experience or equivalent experience • At least 3 years direct experience working within architectural market channels and existing relationships with architects and specifiers • Sales and relationship building experience • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills • Organized, independent, and proactive approach • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM • Willingness to undertake overnight travel (50-60%) • In-depth knowledge of Flooring, Waterproofing, and Roof coatings a plus • Understanding of the technical side of commercial roofing, codes and approvals (FM, RoofNav, UL, SPRI, ARMA, IIBEC, ICRI and Miami-Dade) • Knowledge of competitive bidding and specification building • Member of CSI (Construction Specifiers Institute) preferred • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship • Direct applicants only; agency submissions will not be considered
