📋 Description

• Answer patient questions related to treatment, logistics, and next steps • Troubleshoot patient concerns related to shipping, refunds, scheduling, and care coordination • Track patients through their care journey and ensure timely follow-up • Check, document, and report insurance eligibility information • Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR while adhering to HIPAA and privacy standards • Balance multiple priorities while remaining communicative and reliable to patients and teammates • Ask clarifying questions, ensure accuracy, and close loops in patient care

🎯 Requirements

• Healthcare background (MA, PCA, CNA, or similar clinical or patient-facing role) • 1+ years of experience in abortion care • Comfort working across both in-clinic and remote environments • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills • Strong triage skills and ability to make sound decisions in real time • Ability to deliver clear, empathetic guidance to patients in moments of stress or uncertainty • Skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients • Comfort supporting patients with sensitive health issues, such as abortion and birth control • Ability to navigate protocols, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies related to patient care and documentation • Experience providing trauma-informed care • Ability to prioritize competing tasks, manage time, and communicate proactively with teammates • Spanish language proficiency is a bonus point, not a stated requirement • Prior remote or hybrid work experience is a bonus point • Experience working in a startup or fast-growing organization is a bonus point
