📋 Description

• Lead feature design end to end, creating user flows, interactions, and states • Conduct user research, customer interviews, and usability tests • Create visual designs and interactive prototypes • Build interactive prototypes and accessible, production-ready front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and React • Use AI-powered tools for research, design exploration, prototyping, and front-end development • Design trustworthy, transparent, and controllable AI and agentic experiences • Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to turn validated designs into production-ready features • Use and contribute to Neon One’s design system in design files and code • Apply WCAG 2.1 AA standards, including keyboard navigation, focus management, and screen reader support • Review and refine implemented designs for consistency, usability, and quality • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback to improve the product

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in product design, design engineering, or a hybrid design and front-end development role • Strong design skills across user flows, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping • Working proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript • Experience with modern frameworks such as React or Vue • Familiarity with version control and code review • Experience with Figma or similar tools • Experience using and contributing to design systems and component libraries in both design files and code • Hands-on experience using AI tools, including AI coding tools, to support design and development • Foundational UX research skills, including usability testing and incorporating feedback into design decisions • Working knowledge of WCAG and assistive technology testing • Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end process, from research through shipped outcomes, including work built in code • Strong communication and collaboration skills with Product Managers and Engineers • Legally authorized to work and based in the United States or Canada
