📋 Description
• Train as an All Domain Operations Program Manager within HII Mission Technologies • Report to a designated Mission Technologies Program Manager • Learn program management principles, technologies, and core operational functions • Learn program and project management roles and responsibilities within a civilian contracting firm • Complete assigned special projects as needed • Learn schedule, performance, and risk identification and mitigation • Learn program operations, production schedules, resource utilization, and customer relationships • Gain functional understanding of program profit and loss • Train on all phases of programs from inception through completion • Support a program at one primary geographic location covering remote locations, multiple business functions, and assigned employees • Track cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs • Coordinate resolutions to production-related problems • Manage required manpower support levels throughout task-order performance • Learn federal contracting, business development, capture management, proposal, and operational processes • Network with senior leadership in the All Domain Operations Business Group
🎯 Requirements
• Active-duty US military personnel only within the final 180 days of active-duty service • Applications accepted within the final 12 months of active-duty service • Transitioning US military service member with program/project experience and technical background • Education and experience dependent on Program of Instruction • Commitment to learning HII standards and skills in program and project management • TS/SCI security clearance • PMP/PMI certification preferred • DAWIA Level 3 certification preferred • 10–15+ years of program management experience preferred • Physical requirements vary depending on the Program of Instruction
