📋 Description

• Review project and budget status, manage schedules, and prepare status reports • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and intervention/problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients • Oversee and manage operational aspects of ongoing projects • Serve as liaison between project management and planning, project teams, and line management • Assist in developing contract-required products, including technical direction plans and rough order of magnitude pricing • Manage the risk register • Support government contracting operations through project tracking, financial analysis, and operational coordination

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience • 4+ years of experience supporting complex technical projects and or programs within the Department of Defense (DOD) • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project management software • Strong organization and analytical skills with attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with a functionally diverse team • Strong working knowledge of DOD project management standards, risk management practices and compliance requirements • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance • Preferred: Possess and maintain a Secret Clearance • Preferred: Project Management Professional or other project management certification • Preferred: Familiarity with DOD-specific project management methodologies, process and reporting tools such as MS Projects
