📋 Description

• Learn the fundamentals of Appian low-code application development and business process automation. • Shadow experienced consultants to gain real-world insight into designing, developing, and implementing Appian solutions. • Assist in building Appian applications, workflows, interfaces, reports, and business processes under the guidance of senior developers. • Participate in application testing, quality assurance, and defect resolution activities. • Support the integration and configuration of Appian applications with enterprise systems. • Research Appian best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends, and present findings to the team. • Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and user documentation. • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues. • Participate in Agile ceremonies, team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and collaborative problem-solving activities. • Develop training materials and resources to support end-user adoption. • Continuously expand your technical knowledge while developing consulting, communication, and presentation skills.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated leadership through academic, extracurricular, or professional experiences. • Passion for software development, automation, and emerging technologies. • Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts (Preferred). • Familiarity with Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, or another programming language (Preferred). • Understanding of databases, web technologies, or software development methodologies (Preferred). • Experience with Agile or Scrum environments is a plus (Preferred). • Resides in the Washington, DC metropolitan area (Preferred).
