📋 Description

• Manage day-to-day and month-end close accounting operations related to accounts payable, corporate credit cards, accruals, reconciliations, and flux analysis • Manage the AP inbox, vendor onboarding, vendor inquiries, and AP reconciliations • Research and ensure vendor invoices are correctly coded and approved in the billing system • Assess accrual appropriateness and accuracy and book accruals • Review corporate credit card coding and ensure transactions post to the correct general ledger • Verify compliance of expenses with corporate credit card policies • Review employee reimbursements and resolve coding issues with employees and managers • Complete month-end account reconciliations and prepare/post manual journal entries • Use root cause analysis to resolve vendor balance discrepancies • Review outsourced offshore accounting team work and provide feedback and training instructions • Create new work streams for the outsourced accounting team • Design and implement scalable accounting processes and internal controls • Periodically review Sarbanes-Oxley compliance • Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects and resolve daily accounting operations issues • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for accounting operations

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an accounts payable function, preferably in a fast-paced/public company environment • BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, or a related field • Experience managing vendor portfolio balances over $1B annually • Advanced Excel skills • Netsuite, BILL(.com), Brex, and Coupa experience preferred • Top-level critical thinking and analytical skills • Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of work products • Proven ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-growing environment with frequently changing priorities • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency with spreadsheets (MS Excel and Google) and word processing (MS Word and Google) • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction for any employer
