📋 Description

• Design and develop learning solutions, including eLearning, instructor-led training, distance learning, and blended learning • Collaborate with Learning Strategy Senior Managers and subject matter experts during analysis and throughout projects • Use standard development tools and software, including Articulate Storyline/Rise and PowerPoint • Communicate with project team members and effectively manage projects • Develop creative and innovative ways to develop associates • Apply instructional design expertise, learning science, emerging technologies, and AI-enabled tools to create engaging learning experiences across multiple modalities • Transform performance needs into effective learning solutions from analysis through implementation • Explore new technologies, design approaches, and AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency, learner engagement, and learning outcomes • Report to the Manager of Learning; no direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • Minimum education: high school diploma and/or GED • Minimum 3 years of work experience • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, HR Development, Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, or related field preferred, or equivalent Home Depot experience • Experience with all phases of the course creation lifecycle, including analysis, design, and development • Experience using innovative approaches and leveraging AI in workflow and designs • Experience with Agile Learning Development or the Successive Approximation Model (SAM) • Ability to design learner-centered, visually engaging, contextual, and immediately applicable learning experiences • Working knowledge of multiple learning modalities, including eLearning, instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, mobile, and performance support solutions • Experience using generative AI and AI-enabled tools for learning analysis, content development, asset creation, and workflow efficiency • Knowledge of current learning technologies, digital learning trends, and modern content creation practices • Proficiency with modern learning technologies, AI-enabled content development platforms, and digital learning tools, including Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Creative Cloud, Copilot, and Gemini • Experience consulting with business partners and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and recommend solutions • Strong professional communication skills and ability to tailor messages to varied audiences • Ability to work independently and solve issues as they arise • Familiarity with learning analytics, learner feedback, and data-driven evaluation methods • Proficient knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theories • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard eLearning development tools • Basic knowledge of project management principles and MS Project
