📋 Description

• Direct and support Organized Retail Crime investigations • Work with business partners and use investigative tools to reduce company exposure to external theft • Analyze information and determine exception data to drive investigations • Communicate and coordinate information with field teams and partners • Manage investigative processes and coordinate with law enforcement for prosecution and restitution recovery • Coordinate with AP teams to develop new exception data • Manage remote CCTV viewing to support investigations • Analyze case trends to drive performance and recommend theft-mitigation actions • Manage multiple tasks and gain partner support throughout investigations • Train and coach partners to develop investigative skills • Recommend procedural and policy changes to reduce theft exposure • Conduct field tactics to determine investigation scope and resolution • Deploy resources in partnership with Corporate ORC Managers • Gather and present intelligence to law enforcement • Review POS and Non-POS exception reports to identify ORC theft and fraud • Update the Case Management System weekly • Develop investigative plans and provide weekly case-load updates • Document investigations and retain video for prosecution • Network with field teams, law enforcement, retail, and industry partners • Represent The Home Depot at conferences and ORC meetings • Implement training and fraud-prevention programs

• Must be able to travel throughout the assigned area • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and other non-traditional hours, based on investigative needs • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to analyze information and exception data to drive investigations • Ability to communicate and coordinate information with field teams and business partners • Ability to manage the investigative process and multiple tasks • Ability to coordinate with law enforcement for prosecution and restitution recovery • Ability to conduct remote CCTV viewing • Ability to perform case trend analysis and make recommendations to mitigate theft exposure • Effective training and coaching skills • Ability to gather internal and external intelligence and present it to law enforcement • Ability to use systems reports, databases, POS and Non-POS exception report data • Ability to develop investigative plans and thoroughly document investigations • Ability to retain proper video for prosecution in the Case Management System • Ability to develop partnerships with asset protection, retail, financial institution, law enforcement, and industry partners • Ability to implement training and fraud-prevention programs • Ability to travel overnight typically less than 30% of the time
