📋 Description

• Act as a creative and brand stakeholder across the organization • Use language to communicate Hometap’s brand story and drive new business • Work with Marketing, People Ops, and Legal teams to gather information and business requirements • Collaborate to strengthen the brand voice and bring creative solutions to market • Create content for blogs, emails, social media posts, and video • Create ads for social media, SEM, audio, and video • Create compelling strategic copy to reach and engage homeowners, create awareness, educate stakeholders, and generate leads • Develop materials across multiple platforms, use cases, and personas • Follow and help shape brand and copy style guidelines • Collaborate with creative team members to concept ideas and deliver holistic storytelling solutions • Develop initiatives while maintaining brand consistency • Present viable creative options to leaders and stakeholders • Own copy throughout the creative process from design through final product • Gather information from marketing, design, product, legal, and underwriting stakeholders • Research and become an expert in consumer finance, especially home equity lending and investment • Plan, execute, and track brand marketing initiatives and campaigns • Work in alignment with the Associate Creative Director, Creative Director, or Head of Brand Marketing

🎯 Requirements

• 7-10 years experience, specifically with B2C copywriting environments, either agency or in-house • Experience collaborating closely with art direction/design counterparts • Experience writing copy across web, ads, product, email, video and more • Experience utilizing AI across the creative process and applying human judgment to AI-generated outputs • Ability to use language effectively to drive business results • Strong presentation skills • Strong understanding of how to work from a strategic brief • Autonomous, ability to produce results with limited oversight • Willingness to internalize and incorporate feedback from creative leadership and the broader marketing team • Technical background not required, but ability to write technically • A strong portfolio to support your work - required to be considered for this position • Bonus Points: Experience working for a startup and/or consumer finance company
