📋 Description

• Submit and manage prior authorizations for dermatology medications, including topicals, orals, injectables, and specialty drugs • Track authorization status and follow up to prevent delays in care • Respond to requests for additional clinical documentation • Prepare and submit appeals when required • Coordinate with pharmacies and insurance carriers to resolve authorization issues • Support enrollment in patient assistance programs and manufacturer copay programs when applicable • Maintain accurate documentation in internal systems • Work closely with internal clinical teams, insurance carriers, and pharmacies • Report to the Prior Authorization Lead

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of prior authorization experience • Experience with biologic prior authorizations • Experience with patient assistance programs, copay cards, or financial assistance workflows • Experience supporting dermatology medications • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage volume in a fast-paced startup environment • Authorized to work in the US without restriction • Must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future • High school diploma or equivalent (application requirement) • Experience with Dermatology (nice to have)
