📋 Description

• Lead strategic product design initiatives across HopSkipDrive's product portfolio • Define UX patterns and ensure consistency across products • Develop and implement scalable design systems and components • Conduct strategic design research and synthesize findings into actionable insights • Use AI tools to accelerate discovery and research synthesis • Evaluate design problems for AI-powered solutions • Design AI-powered features with interaction patterns, error states, and edge cases • Mentor designers and facilitate design workshops and critiques • Communicate design rationale to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams • Facilitate workshops and present design strategy and vision to senior stakeholders • Own design outcomes for significant product areas • Define and measure success using business and user metrics • Drive measurable customer impact through AI experiences

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience leading complex, cross-functional design initiatives end to end • Advanced UX/UI design skills with holistic user experience focus and strong visual execution • Experience establishing and maintaining design standards, best practices, and scalable design systems • Ability to lead complex prototyping and usability testing efforts • Ability to integrate user research and advanced data analysis into strategic product decisions • Experience designing for mobile and web platforms • Experience mentoring designers and facilitating critiques and workshops • Exceptional communication skills and ability to defend design rationale to executive stakeholders • Hands-on experience using AI tools for discovery, research synthesis, and prototyping • Judgment to assess when AI interpretation is reliable and when human judgment must lead • Ability to evaluate and iterate AI-generated design output • Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, such as Figma • Solid understanding of design systems and scalable design practices
