• Source, qualify, negotiate, close, and drive to activation new lodging supply partnerships • Acquire supply across aggregators, distribution partners, PMGs, hotel chains, and large or complex independent properties • Win supply for Engine’s transient platform, Groups, and Omni API surfaces • Build and manage a named supply pipeline across categories and product lines • Tier opportunities by rate-content and net-direct-revenue potential • Lead executive-level negotiations and structure direct-rate, commission/override, net-rate/contracted-content, and connectivity agreements • Develop fluency in lodging distribution economics, rate/content models, connectivity paths, and supplier incentives • Partner with Connectivity, Onboarding, Product, and Finance to activate signed agreements • Hand off activated partners to Partner Success for ongoing account management and growth • Represent Engine at industry events and executive forums • Maintain pipeline accuracy and forecasts, communicating progress and risks to leadership
• 8+ years in business development, commercial partnerships, or enterprise/strategic sales • Demonstrated focus on winning net-new business rather than managing an inherited book • Proven hunter track record sourcing, structuring, and closing complex, high-value commercial agreements at meaningful scale • Executive presence and negotiation strength with senior stakeholders • Ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder negotiations to a durable close • Commercial acumen to model and defend deal economics, structure creative terms, and align cross-functional partners • Builder’s mindset and comfort operating without a defined script • Ability to learn lodging distribution and supplier economics quickly • Bonus: experience in travel, hospitality, lodging, marketplaces, or other supply/distribution businesses • Bonus: existing relationships across chains, PMGs, property groups, or distribution partners
