📋 Description

• Attend firm-wide huddles and team meetings as scheduled. • Draft and file complaints within 30 days of a case transfer. • Ensure service of process is completed within designated timeframes. • Schedule and track case milestones, including scheduling hearings, mediations, and depositions. • Provide telephonic client updates every six weeks, with no more than 10 outstanding updates at any given time. • Maintain accurate and timely case documentation in SmartAdvocate. • Draft and serve subpoenas, discovery requests, and responses. • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including scheduling witness statements, compiling exhibits, and creating necessary legal binders. • Perform background checks on defendants and clients as part of case preparation. • Work collaboratively with attorneys, case managers, and legal assistants to move cases toward resolution.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience required. • Ability to travel in the event a case goes to trial is required. • The ideal candidate will have a track record of long-term success and progression in previous positions • Strong understanding of state, local, and federal court rules. • Strong Empathy for injured clients • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written. • Empathy for our injured clients. • Confidence and motivation to exceed expectations. • Professional attire and demeanor. • Desire to learn, develop, and motivate team members. • Team player • Experience with e-filing and legal documentation. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to be available to work during business hours, Mountain time zone (Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:00 and Friday 8:00-4:00) • Ability to pass a background check
