• Support student learning and academic success within an assigned subject area • Provide instruction in asynchronous teacher-facilitated courses and/or live online classes • Manage an assigned student caseload and monitor academic progress throughout the course lifecycle • Maintain communication with students, parents, and school partners, including regular progress updates • Grade assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback • Deliver engaging live virtual instruction when assigned • Monitor student performance and implement appropriate academic interventions • Collaborate with instructional leaders and internal stakeholders to support student success • Maintain accurate student records and complete required administrative tasks • Participate in professional development, instructional observations, and feedback processes • Complete required training and compliance activities • Serve as a substitute or bench teacher when assigned
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Education or a relevant subject area required • Prior classroom or instructional experience required • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to build positive relationships in a virtual learning environment • Proficiency with learning management systems and educational technology • Ability to independently navigate Microsoft Office, email, video conferencing platforms, and learning management systems • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Ability to manage a high-volume asynchronous caseload with consistency and responsiveness • Demonstrated ability to use student performance data to inform instructional decisions • Access to a PC or Mac computer; Chromebooks and tablets are not supported • Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) or macOS 10.13 or later • Intel Core i5 processor or equivalent; Apple Silicon M1 or newer • Minimum 8GB RAM (16GB recommended) • Reliable high-speed internet connection • A mobile phone capable of receiving text messages • Personal commitment to the Catholic faith is not required; teachers must demonstrate professionalism and respect for school-community beliefs and values
