📋 Description

• Lead audit engagements and establish work priorities and timelines • Conduct process walkthroughs with business owners to identify internal controls and assess their design • Review testing of key controls for effective design and operation • Identify audit issues and root causes, recommend improvements, and work with business partners to resolve issues • Provide on-the-job feedback and mentoring to staff and interns • Conduct operational, compliance, financial, and investigative audits • Determine audit scope to evaluate systems and controls • Help develop the risk-based audit plan, including risk identification • Provide leadership to departmental committees and initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • 3 or more years of audit experience • Experience leading walkthrough discussions and identifying controls • Experience consulting across teams and managing multiple projects at a time • Ability to prioritize tasks and projects while focusing on the "big picture" • Experience establishing working relationships with associates within the department and the business • Willingness to work standard daytime hours in either the Eastern or Central time zone • Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload for Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees • Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information • Preferred: CPA, CIA, PMP, or CFE certification • Preferred: prior audit experience in healthcare and/or public accounting • Preferred: data analytics/business intelligence experience with tools including Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, R, and Python • Preferred: Six Sigma Black Belt, process improvement, and/or quality control expertise
