📋 Description

• Complete medical necessity and comprehensive medication reviews for prescriptions requiring pre-authorization • Perform full analyses of medication care plans • Investigate overall medication utilization • Identify unusual usage patterns • Intervene with and advise patients and providers • Promote cost-effective utilization and quality patient outcomes • Interpret guidelines and independently determine appropriate courses of action • Make decisions regarding work methods with minimal direction • Travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent • Less than 5 years of technical experience • Ability to complete medical necessity and comprehensive medication reviews • Ability to analyze medication care plans and overall utilization • Ability to identify unusual medication usage patterns • Ability to interpret established guidelines and procedures • Ability to make independent determinations in ambiguous situations • Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps • Dedicated work space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information • Ability to travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings
