📋 Description

• Identify usage anomalies, over-provisioning, and underutilized cloud resources and recommend right-sizing or decommissioning • Translate reserved instance strategies, spot pricing, and infrastructure changes into actionable cost-saving measures with engineering • Build and maintain cloud cost allocation frameworks across AWS, Azure, and GCP by team, project, or service • Implement and manage chargeback/showback programs assigning cloud costs to business units or projects • Collaborate with finance to set and monitor cloud budgets • Forecast cloud spend based on usage trends • Create dashboards and reports for leadership and stakeholders covering spend, savings, and efficiency metrics • Support executive-level financial and operational performance reporting • Support cloud billing exports, invoicing workflows, purchase order processes, and audit documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Knowledge of cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP • Infrastructure monitoring experience • Scripting skills in Python and Bash • Familiarity with cost management tools such as AWS Cost Explorer and Azure Cost Management • Financial modeling and data analysis skills • SQL and statistical analysis skills • Cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder communication, and ability to influence technical and financial decisions • Experience supporting FinOps or cloud cost management practices across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments • Familiarity with cloud billing exports, invoicing workflows, purchase order processes, and audit support documentation • Knowledge of Cloudability or similar cloud financial management platforms • Experience developing executive-level reporting and dashboards for financial and operational performance • FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP), AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Administrator (AZ-104), or Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer certifications are listed • Relevant certifications in cloud, finance, or process improvement disciplines are preferred • Must live in or within a commutable distance to Louisville, KY; Tampa, FL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Dallas/Frisco, TX; Boston, MA; Washington, D.C.; Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Chicago, IL; or Charlotte, NC • Home internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload is required • Must work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
