📋 Description

• Design, implement, and modernize Unified Communications and Productivity platforms including Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange • Drive migrations from legacy and fragmented solutions to modern cloud-based platforms and standardized architectures • Own platform health, performance, reliability, security, compliance, and operational standards • Advance automation, observability, and operational functionality using PowerShell, APIs, and modern engineering practices • Lead complex Microsoft 365 migrations, including tenant-to-tenant, M&A integrations, and enterprise platform transformations • Own end-to-end migration delivery through planning, execution, cutover, and stabilization • Define migration patterns, coexistence strategies, and phased modernization approaches • Partner with identity, security, networking, and endpoint teams for secure execution • Support implementation and operationalization of enterprise AI capabilities, including Microsoft Copilot • Integrate AI capabilities into collaboration platforms and establish responsible-use guardrails and governance • Monitor AI adoption, usage trends, and value realization; drive continuous improvement • Mentor engineering teams on AI-enabled platform design, operations, and modernization • Drive adoption and optimization of productivity and collaboration tools • Define governance, lifecycle management, and usage standards • Align platform capabilities to productivity, adoption, user experience, and operational-efficiency outcomes • Serve as senior technical leader and escalation point for complex platform and modernization efforts • Mentor and develop engineers across M365, automation, and AI-enabled collaboration technologies • Influence platform strategy, architecture decisions, and modernization roadmaps • Communicate risks, impacts, and transformation outcomes to business and IT leadership • Translate technical capabilities into business value and drive cross-functional alignment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • 8 or more years of Unified Communications experience • 2 or more years of project leadership experience • Deep hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 tenants, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive • Automation and scripting experience with PowerShell and APIs • Experience planning, designing, and implementing communications systems • Willingness to travel up to 10% • Located within 50 miles of one of Humana's hub sites • Experience leading large-scale M365 migrations and modernization efforts • Experience implementing and supporting AI capabilities within productivity platforms, such as Microsoft Copilot • Demonstrated leadership in engineering delivery, platform transformation, and mentorship • Experience across Unified Communications ecosystems • Background in M365 governance, security, and compliance, including Purview, DLP, and retention • Experience driving enterprise modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption, legacy decommissioning, and platform consolidation • Familiarity with data readiness, information architecture, and content lifecycle strategies supporting AI • Cost analysis and vendor comparison experience • Certifications related to Unified Communications, such as MS-102, PL-400, or AZ-040 • Home internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
