📋 Description

• Administer the Paralegal Program firmwide • Drive operational efficiency and foster professional development • Ensure high-quality legal support for lawyers handling transactional, compliance, and litigation matters • Support the Complex Tort Strategic Business Unit • Direct large teams of paralegals handling high-volume litigation cases • Stay informed of legal industry and Complex Tort trends • Lead and manage paralegals and collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams • Design and improve processes and workflows • Assess opportunities to integrate automation and AI tools into paralegal workflows • Oversee paralegal work allocation and support hiring recommendations • Facilitate paralegal departures, transitions, onboarding, meetings, and communications • Develop training programs and manage the paralegal mentoring program • Support performance evaluations and compensation recommendations • Provide ongoing feedback and monitor adherence to firm policies, legal standards, and ethical guidelines • Monitor productivity, utilization, overtime, and time-entry compliance • Develop and improve reporting methodologies for performance metrics • Identify inefficiencies and implement operational improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business administration, or related field; or combination of education and commensurate work experience required • Minimum 5 years of management experience in legal or Complex Torts • Minimum 3 years of Paralegal experience in corporate, regulatory, or Complex Tort litigation matters • Strong judgment, organizational, and time-management skills • High level of professional integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills • Experience with performance management and policy enforcement • High emotional intelligence, discretion, and sound judgment • Proficient in project management tools and data interpretation • Collaborative approach and adaptability to evolving business demands • Cover letter and resume required • Principal applicants only
