📋 Description

• Develop rigorous study designs, including experimental and quasi-experimental approaches, for research, evaluation, technical assistance, and monitoring projects • Develop sampling, analytic, and implementation plans • Advise on and implement design and analysis plans • Interpret quantitative and qualitative findings and communicate results to varied audiences • Explain methodological concepts to clients and project team members verbally and in writing • Serve as lead author for technical reports, publications, and proposals • Conduct comprehensive quality reviews before client submission • Maintain effective client communication and serve as a recognized expert in project content and methodology • Mentor research, evaluation, and analytic staff at multiple career stages • Expand technical expertise and contribute to colleague skill-building • Collaborate with team members on proposals and project delivery • Support education research, evaluation, and business development for PreK–20 education and social programs

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate in Education, Sociology, Psychology, Public Policy, or related field • 10+ post-graduate years of applied study design and analysis experience • Proficiency with one or more of R, Python, SPSS, SAS, or Stata • Expertise in complex research and evaluation designs, including randomized controlled trials, propensity score matching/weighting, and regression discontinuity designs • Hands-on experience with advanced quantitative analyses and large datasets • Familiarity with nested and hierarchical data structures • Understanding of What Works Clearinghouse criteria • Strong knowledge of PreK–20 education policies and programs in the United States • Experience collaborating with varied stakeholder groups • Ability to engage clients in consultative collaboration and incorporate feedback into deliverables • Prior state or federal consulting experience • Experience in business development, capture, proposal writing, and related efforts • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment • Superior attention to detail and ability to meet stringent deadlines • Sound business ethics and strict protection of proprietary and confidential information • Ability to apply organizational procedures and make informed, independent decisions • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments
