📋 Description

• Provide subject matter-specific advice and expertise to the JFMD project • Support facility trend analysis related to medical and health standards • Report serious compliance issues or life/safety events immediately when onsite • Conduct authorized subject matter-specific inspections in person or virtually • Provide technical assistance for child and family service programs • Prepare PowerPoint briefings of compliance reviews • Develop, review, and update handbooks, policies, procedures, resources, and inspection tools • Assist with monthly and annual compliance reports • Provide special reports as requested • Recommend improvements to the JFMD inspection and training, technical assistance, and inspection processes • Travel to inspection sites, including required travel to Texas • Work approximately 24–32 hours per month, sometimes including monthly three-day inspections with travel

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in public health or related field • At least 10 years of experience providing medical health services to various populations, including adolescents and children • Knowledge of migrant/refugee issues, particularly migrant families and unaccompanied children • Prior work experience in a consulting environment preferred • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment • Ability to manage competing priorities, perspectives, and stakeholder needs • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities • Ability to deal effectively with rapid change and prioritize work quickly • Excellent verbal, oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills • Experience developing and delivering presentations and technical writing • Outstanding professionalism, judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy • Flexibility due to variable workload and potential role-sharing • Travel to Texas is required
