📋 Description

• Lead operations of large and small training and technical assistance engagements for entities receiving CDBG-DR funding • Direct cross-functional teams of trainers, subject matter experts, and technical contributors • Strategize how to accomplish technical assistance goals and build recipient capacity • Serve as primary liaison with technical assistance recipients and maintain communications with HUD • Coordinate trainings on regulatory and grant-specific requirements • Provide guidance on recovery and resilience program design and implementation • Oversee product development work plans and coordinate authors, designers, subject-matter experts, and contributors • Oversee schedules, staffing, and budgets to ensure quality deliverables • Track priorities for accurate, timely, and cost-effective project completion • Conduct quality control of deliverables, tools, and products for alignment with HUD guidance and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Public Administration, or other relevant field • Minimum 8 years of experience working directly with CDBG-DR programs • Minimum 2 years of project management and personnel management skills and experience developing and implementing project/team processes • Demonstrated knowledge of how housing, community and economic development, and disaster recovery programs are implemented at the state and/or local levels • Willingness to travel occasionally • All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States • Proficiency with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) • Preferred: Master’s Degree in a relevant field • Preferred experience with CDBG-DR programs, multifamily developers, housing authorities, affordable housing, hazard mitigation, resilience strategies, and data analysis • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills • Strong project leadership and ability to manage competing priorities • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work effectively with internal staff, clients, and partners • Excellent problem-solving skills • High level of professionalism, judgment, tact, and diplomacy • Superior attention to detail
