📋 Description

• Transform complex structured data into intuitive, actionable, and visually compelling reports and dashboards • Clean, merge, and structure data from Excel, SQL databases, and CSV files • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) • Collaborate with non-technical program managers and agency leadership to define reporting needs and data stories • Create static and dynamic visuals for presentations, reports, and testimonies • Establish repeatable reporting processes and adaptable templates • Implement data validation and quality assurance processes • Document data models, calculations, and dashboard logic • Train end users to promote data literacy and self-service analytics • Create valid, reliable, user-friendly data collection tools with validation • Conduct occasional observations or visits to locations nationwide

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in data science, education, sociology, social work, psychology, justice, or another social science-related subject • 4+ years of experience conducting qualitative and/or quantitative data collection or management, research analysis, or evaluation • Demonstrated experience using Power BI, Tableau, and Power Query • Demonstrated experience using SQL for querying and validating data • Eligibility to qualify for a Tier II Public Trust Security Clearance • Demonstrated experience in data visualization or data storytelling techniques and principles in education or human services contexts • Demonstrated experience producing high-quality, professional visualizations, presentations, products, and/or resources • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail • Experience working independently to develop innovative solutions to client data challenges • Experience sharing knowledge and building colleagues' data management or visualization skills • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Experience developing and delivering presentations and technical writing
