📋 Description

• Support information technology applications through planning, design, implementation, maintenance, optimization, and ongoing support • Serve as senior technical and operational leader for Epic MyChart solutions • Design, build, optimize, and support MyChart solutions that improve patient engagement and digital access • Configure patient-facing workflows focused on patient experience, usability, and adoption • Support virtual care, on-demand services, pharmacy, and lab functionality • Partner with clinical, operational, digital, and external vendor stakeholders • Analyze and diagnose stakeholder problems and determine resolutions • Gather, validate, and translate technology requirements into design and development specifications while providing product management • Configure, test, install, implement, monitor, and maintain complex systems, applications, workflows, processes, and hardware • Document and recommend workflow changes and technical/functional designs • Troubleshoot complex incidents and problems according to service levels and department standards • Serve as project manager for complex, cross-functional projects and manage project handoffs through governance processes • Review team projects, create demand, manage resources, and develop remediation plans • Mentor analysts and identify training opportunities • Develop technical best practices and standards with peers, stakeholders, and vendors • Follow documentation and change-management standards • Develop training and knowledge materials for peers, end users, and team members • Integrate electronic and mechanical hardware with software products • Develop and understand business reporting needs • Maintain comprehensive testing plans and scripts • Participate in team, project, department, workgroup, subcommittee, hospital leadership, vendor, and industry meetings • Assist with project and team budget forecasting, maintenance, adjustment, justification, and approvals • Manage assigned IT project and initiative portfolios, aligning them with IT strategy and business priorities • Track project benefits using KPIs and report results to senior leaders • Provide project information to support leadership approval decisions • Conduct service reviews with facility and medical group executives and follow up on survey results and improvement processes • Participate in on-call and command center responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Current Epic certification in Patient Experience applications such as MyChart (required), preferably through version May 2026 • Nice to have Cadence, Prelude, Welcome, Hello World, Cheers, Bedside, Care Companion, and ServiceNow experience • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel (pivot tables), Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Word • In-depth business and application knowledge and experience • Knowledge of system analysis and operating systems, preferably in a hospital setting • Ability to assess needs and determine appropriate approaches through documentation • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Ability to read and interpret industry periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations • Ability to write reports, correspondence, and process documents • Ability to present information and respond to inquiries or complaints • Ability to lead projects using project-management principles and lifecycle controls • Skills in resource planning and strategic management • Bachelor's degree in information technology, healthcare, business, or related field is required • Willingness/ability to certify on one or more Epic applications and maintain certification • Additional relevant experience may substitute for lack of education upon Supervisory and HR approval • Alternatively, eight years of work experience in a healthcare setting and applications experience, with Epic certification maintained • Ability to participate in on-call and command center responsibilities • Must not reside or plan to reside in California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Washington
