📋 Description

• Provide research project support to requesting departments • Coordinate routine to moderately complex research projects and manage related communication and documentation • Support clinical research studies and departments across the Intermountain system • Coordinate IRB/HRPP submissions and support research oversight committees and programs, or coordinate administrative and technical functions for grants, contracts, and external funding agreements • Define, develop, and execute clinical research project plans, work plans, and schedules • Identify resources, roles, and responsibilities for assigned studies • Facilitate feedback from key participants and participate as a team member • Develop budgets and scope documents for clinical research studies • Assist with business cases, proposals, budgets, and required internal and external routing forms • Analyze study requirements and communicate impacts to stakeholders • Participate in quality assurance plans and reviews • Document deliverables, track and communicate timelines, and prepare reports and presentations • Support research billing by reviewing research accounts and reconciling invoices • Manage study startup, maintenance, and closeout activities • Support study teams on study financials and act as a subject-matter expert and liaison • Provide backup support as a clinical research coordinator when requested • Develop Medicare Coverage Analysis documents, review reimbursement guidelines, ensure correct billing, and provide coverage review • Coordinate project assessments and response planning • Communicate risks, develop and execute mitigation strategies, and lead auditing activities for compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience supporting clinical research involving human subjects • Experience in a role requiring effective organizational skills, follow-through, commitment to excellence, and professional communication • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally with personnel at all levels • Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team environment • Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet, email, and scheduling applications • Ability and willingness to travel within the Intermountain system and work from different locations as assigned • Occasional overnight travel may be required • Clinical licensure, experience, or certification may be required due to grant funding requirements • Bachelor's Degree in a clinical or life science field, business, or healthcare operations from an accredited institution • Two years of experience in a research or relevant healthcare/business role requiring strong attention to detail and adherence to policies and procedures OR three years of such experience • Preferred: Experience in a clinical research setting, including relevant study management experience • Preferred: Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting
