📋 Description

• Support information technology applications through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, optimizing, and providing ongoing support • Provide technical support, configuration, and maintenance for healthcare applications throughout their lifecycle • Analyze and diagnose stakeholder problems to determine resolutions • Gather, validate, and translate technology requirements into design and development specifications while providing product management • Configure, test, install, implement, monitor, and maintain systems, applications, workflows, processes, and hardware • Document and recommend workflow changes and technical/functional designs supporting business requirements • Partner with external vendors on third-party application integration, implementation, support, and troubleshooting • Resolve issues, incidents, and problems according to service levels and department standards • Serve as project manager and complete project-management functions for small to mid-size projects involving multiple teams • Collaborate with peers, internal and external stakeholders, and vendors • Follow documentation and change-management standards • Participate in developing training and knowledge-based materials • Configure and integrate electronic and mechanical hardware with software products • Develop and understand business reporting needs for end users • Participate in on-call and command-center responsibilities when applicable • Assist in developing and maintaining testing plans and scripts • Attend team, project, and department meetings • Work with project requestors to complete minimum viable products in ServiceHub • Request project and enhancement resources through the ServiceHub Resource Plan process • Maintain necessary certifications, such as Epic certifications

🎯 Requirements

• EpicCare Inpatient Procedure Orders Certification • Experience supporting Epic EHR • Bachelor's degree in information technology, healthcare, business, or related field is preferred • Additional relevant experience may substitute for lack of education upon Supervisory and HR approval • Preferably Epic Procedural Orders build experience • Knowledge of SmartSets, OrderSets, and Panels • Knowledge of inpatient provider workflows • Knowledge of preference lists • Knowledge of Order Composer Config • Knowledge of Workflow Engine Rule, OTx, and Second Sign Rule • Knowledge of interfacing • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel including pivot tables, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Word • In-depth business and application knowledge and experience • Knowledge of system analysis and operating systems • Ability to assess needs and determine the best approach through documentation • Problem definition and data collection skills • Ability to read and interpret industry periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations • Ability to write correspondence and process documents • Ability to operate computers and other IT equipment • Ability to read computer monitors and documents • Ability to remain sitting or standing for long periods • Must be available Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM, with on-call rotation evenings and weekends • Some quarterly required travel
