📋 Description
• Provide specialized fitness/aerobic instruction • Conduct training from approved curriculum resources • Assess participant needs and adjust class curriculum accordingly • Adapt programs and routines for individuals and groups to improve exercise efficiency • Participate in marketing and promotion of fitness classes • Help develop communication and information tools to promote classes and activities • Teach classes and adapt teaching strategies based on participant feedback • Ensure classes contain applicable supplies and set up the classroom as needed • Greet and encourage class members • Provide additional materials and information to individuals with specific needs
🎯 Requirements
• Current and applicable 'Group Fitness Certification' (i.e. AFAA, ACE, ISMA, ACSM) or approved specialty fitness certification • Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers • 1 year of experience in teaching group fitness, preferred • Ability to perform carrying, climbing, crawling, hearing and listening, pulling and pushing, lifting, squatting/kneeling, standing, walking, speaking, and manual dexterity activities
